The Friends of Passmores School Association (FoPSA) is a charity run by a combination of parents/carers and staff members. It provides an opportunity for members of the Passmores community to get involved in the life of the school by providing activities and events for students, staff, parents and the local community. We then raise money to enhance the student’s education by purchasing items they may not usually have.

We meet each half-term to co-ordinate the organisation of events such as:

• Quiz Nights
• The Christmas Market
• Movie Nights
• Bingo Nights
• Passmores’ Got Talent

The Friends also provide refreshments at school events including shows, concerts, open evening and discos.

Last year (2024/2025) we raised over £7000 which enabled us to purchase:

• new textbooks for History and French,
• new cameras and camcorders for Photography and Media,
• new microscopes for Science,
• equipment for PE, Art and Psychology,
• drums for Music
• reading books for English.

This was launched this earlier in the year and for just £1 per ticket, you could win up to £25,000 and 60% of your ticket fees comes straight to FOPs! It’s a win win!

Easy Fundraising:

FOPs have been a member of EasyFundraising for a couple of years now and are doing well. This website is the easiest way to raise money for us. ‘Easyfundraising’ partners with over 8000 brands, who donate part of what you spend to a cause of your choice. It will not cost you any extra; the cost is covered by the brand.

Most months easyfundraising will have their own competitions and extra ways to earn more money for us. Sometimes this is just with one click. Please follow this link to sign up.
